OCR Spartan Obstacles Courses
A large 8ft box coated in a slick material with rounded top lip and a varied length rope hang off. This rope is attached to a metal bar about 1 1/2 – 2 feet back from the edge. When introduced, the Box featured a rope long enough to get your feet on to climb up. The more recent version features a much shorter rope making this obstacle much more difficult than you would expect.

Description: This obstacle is a giant 8-foot tall wooden box with a rope along the wall. The flat surface at the top of the wall offers no grip, and therefore you need to use the rope to climb over. On the other side, you’ll find stairs to come back on the ground level.
Rules: You must climb over the 8 foot Box without using the support structure or straps, and the booster is available only for female runners. Failure to complete the obstacle leads to a 30 burpees penalty.
